The wooden gua sha scraper is suitable for massaging various areas of the body thanks to its elongated shape, protrusions, and concavity. The scraper's diameter is 19 cm.
It can be used for different types of massages:
-
Face massage.
-
Neck and collarbone zone massage.
-
Head, arms, legs, and back massage.
-
Anti-cellulite massage.

Regular use of the wooden scraper stimulates subcutaneous fluid, including lymph, helping to eliminate cellulite. Its small size allows you to take it on a business trip or holiday. It's convenient to hold in your hands during the massage, ensuring comfort while using it.
The Hillary wooden gua sha scraper for body massage is made from natural oak wood using a special technology: dry wood that undergoes 4 types of sanding and is coated with a special formula — a combination of oil and hard wax OSMO TopOil 3028, which crystallizes the top layer of the wood.

The oils and wax deeply penetrate the wooden surface, giving it water- and dirt-repellent properties, strength, and durability. At the same time, the wood retains its ability to "breathe."
The properties of oak wood are enhanced by the special coating — oil with hard wax OSMO TopOil 3028, which:
-
Is an environmentally friendly product;
-
Complies with food safety standards (EN 1186);
-
Is highly water- and chemically resistant;
-
Is very strong and wear-resistant;
-
Safe for use on children's toys (EN 71.3);
-
Provides microorganism protection, air permeability, and does not crack or peel.

Usage: Pre-application of a serum or warming oil will make the massage more pleasant and effective. The wooden scraper has sharper edges, so it penetrates the skin more deeply, reaching deeper muscle layers. Its touch can sometimes be painful, especially compared to stone massagers.
We recommend starting with the softer zones (buttocks, thighs) and using very light pressure, gradually increasing the intensity. Otherwise, the massage technique is the same — hold the scraper at a 45° angle, moving along the massage lines.

Massage one line until it turns red, but be aware that after intense massage, bruises and hemorrhages may occasionally appear (this is normal for gua sha massage, as long as there is no strong pain or discomfort).

Contraindications:
-
Hypertension.
-
Low platelet levels.
-
Skin damage in the massage area.
-
Skin disease flare-ups.
-
Infectious diseases.
-
Allergies, especially to massage oil components.
-
Liver dysfunction.
-
Fractures during the healing stage.
-
Tumors.
-
Poor blood clotting.
Furthermore, gua sha massage should be avoided by pregnant women and people with heightened sensitivity: the procedure may be painful during the first sessions.
Care recommendations for the wooden scraper: Before first use, wipe the scraper with a cotton pad soaked in chlorhexidine. After the massage, wipe the scraper with a paper towel to remove excess oil. DO NOT wash the scraper with water and soap, do not soak it. Store the scraper in the bag provided in the set.
