Blueberries are an excellent natural source of Vitamin C and antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the scalp, while Vitamin C stimulates blood circulation and improves collagen production, which in turn strengthens the capillaries that nourish the hair shaft. If blueberries aren't to your taste, consider other foods high in Vitamin C, such as guava, kiwi, papaya, and strawberries.
Spinach, rich in folic acid, vitamins A and C, beta-carotene, and most importantly, iron, is truly an indispensable food for hair growth. Consuming spinach (6 mg of iron per serving) is an excellent way to boost iron levels in the body and stimulate hair growth. Kale, broccoli, and lentils also contain a lot of iron.
Avocado is traditionally considered one of the most nutritious foods and is an excellent source of over 20 vitamins and minerals, including vitamins B, C, E, and K, beta-carotene, omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, potassium, magnesium, and folic acid.
Carrots, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin are excellent sources of Vitamin A, making them beneficial for preventing hair loss.
