Thanks to the bromine and magnesium content in sea salt, excess fluid is eliminated from the body.

Sea salt is incredibly successful in cosmetology, as it's rich in essential microelements such as iron, iodine, and magnesium.

Potassium, found in sea salt, helps maintain normal blood pressure and prevents the development of hypertension; potassium is also essential for the cardiovascular system.

Selenium, present in sea salt, protects our cells from free radicals.

Thanks to a sea salt scrub, skin gains elasticity and is nourished with beneficial extracts from the deep sea.

It's particularly noteworthy that sea salt is an effective anti-cellulite agent.

How to properly apply a salt scrub to your skin: tips and recommendations

When using a salt scrub, you should follow certain rules:

  • First, apply the scrub to a pre-cleansed and damp face, warming the skin slightly with warm water or steam. For the body, apply the sea salt scrub immediately after a shower or bath (to damp skin).
  • Second, remember to apply it very gently, without intense pressure (especially for the thin skin of the face, neck, and décolleté area). Use light circular motions, gently massaging the skin for 2-3 minutes (for the body, extend this time to 7-10 minutes). It's best to use a face scrub in the evening, right before bed. After the procedure, carefully rinse the product off with warm water, then rinse your face with cold water, pat dry, and apply a light moisturizing cream.
  • Under no circumstances should you "scrub" the delicate skin of the eyelids and lips; avoid the area around the eyes. It is also strictly forbidden to use a scrub on acne-prone skin or skin with various lesions to avoid injuring it or introducing infection.
  • For oily or combination facial skin, a salt peel can be used weekly. However, for dry or normal skin, this procedure is recommended no more than twice a month. People with very sensitive skin shouldn't overdo salt scrubs; for them, it's sufficient to perform such a facial cleansing only once every four weeks.
