Every year we look forward to summer. We dream of relaxing on the beach under the rays of the summer sun and an even tan. But often, in addition to sunburn, our skin acquires a number of unpleasant problems: wrinkles, age spots, enlarged pores and oily sheen. Hillary will tell you how to avoid such troubles, ensure proper care for different skin types in the summer, and without which you simply cannot leave the house in the heat.

In the summer season, the skin is affected by negative factors, such as ultraviolet radiation, dust, heat, sea water, etc. Why is summer dangerous for the skin:

decreased production of collagen and elastin;

excessive production of melanin - the appearance of age spots, freckles;

ultraviolet rays contribute to the development of neoplasms;

an increase in the number of black dots.

Thoughtful care will save you from these troubles and summer will only benefit you.

Where to begin?

Thorough and gentle cleansing of the skin.

The choice of means for washing should be treated as responsibly and carefully as possible.

For dry skin, cleansers should not contain a single drying component. Pay your attention to the foams, which include avocado oil and squalane. In summer, it is best to wash your face with cool water and preferably not often. After all, chlorinated and hard water dries out the skin even more.

For owners of oily and combination skin, it is better to use foams and gels without SLS and SLeS for washing. Look out for products containing lavender, rosemary, jojoba, and tamanu essential oils. And do not wash your face with hot or warm water - this provokes excessive secretions of sebum.

Owners of tired and aging skin benefit from contrasting washes, as they increase tone, improve blood circulation and strengthen capillary walls. For washing, it is better to choose foams and mousses with aloe vera, extracts of berries and fruits. Lotions and tonics used after cleansing should have a gentle composition without alcohol.

Intensive hydration.

In the summertime, all skin types need intense hydration. We recommend opting for a non-greasy gel cream or a water-based moisturizer for the summer. Moisturizing mist sprays, thermal and rose water will also be a good moisturizer.

Owners of mature skin should pay special attention to moisturizing the thin skin around the eyes. Due to the lack of moisture, dryness and flabbiness of the skin occurs in these areas. Hyaluronic acid is also a good moisturizer. It enhances the skin's ability to retain moisture.

Sun protection.

One of the main features of care in the summer is protection from the sun. Perhaps the most important product to apply every morning is a good sunscreen with SPF protection. This cream should be applied 20 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every 4-5 hours.

Interesting fact:

Did you know that the SPF factor shows a specific time. For example: take the number of minutes that your skin does not burn in the sun without protection (for example, 10), multiply this number by the SPF value (for example, you use SPF 30), and you get the maximum duration of UV protection, that this product can provide you (in our example, 300 minutes).

Drink more water
If the body is dehydrated, then the skin will not be healthy and beautiful. The norm of water per day is 1.5-2 liters + liquid from food. But in summer, the amount of water in the diet should increase. This will help maintain the hydro-lipid balance of the skin.
