A "proper" bath positively affects not only your health but also your mood.

In water, your body becomes lighter, and muscles that usually experience tension can relax. Hot water improves blood circulation, opens pores, and alleviates nervous tension and stress.

  • The water temperature should be 37–38 degrees Celsius; hotter water will only tire you out.
  • You should take a bath either before a meal or 1.5–2 hours after it. Even if you feel great, don't prolong the bathing procedure for more than 20–25 minutes, as this increases the strain on your heart. In general, it's better if the water doesn't cover your heart area.
  • It's very beneficial to move around in the water and gently massage your entire body. You shouldn't take baths daily, as warm water can cause the skin to swell and lose too much oil, leading to excessive dryness. It's better to bathe every 2–3 days.
  • After your bath, it's recommended to rub yourself with a dry terry towel, apply a body cosmetic product, and rest for a bit.
